American Legion Riders, Post 605, Dallastown, PA completed the Fallen Heroes Ride on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
It was a beautiful day for a ride which started at ALR Post 605 in Dallastown, PA. The event drew over 150 bikes and went off flawlessly.
The ride honored, U.S. Army 1LT Daren Hidalgo, West Point Class of 2009, who was killed in the line of duty on February 20th, 2011 while serving in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, U.S. Marine Corps SGT Christopher Wrinkle, who was killed in the line of duty on July 31st, 2011 while serving in Herat Province, Afghanistan, U.S. Marine Corps SSG Tosca, K-9 Military War Dog, who was killed in the line of duty on July 31st, 2011 while serving in Herat Province, Afghanistan, U.S. Marine Corps SSGT Benjamin Hines, who was killed on April 8th, 2019 while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan, and ALL of our Fallen Heroes from the Greater York County, Pennsylvania area. The ride culminated at the Veterans Memorial Gold Star Healing and Peace Garden where the three Gold Star families were honored with Blankets of Honor.
