7th Annual Hidalgo/Warner Memorial Golf Outing Excellence
On Friday, July 19, Team Hidalgo/Warner hosted their Seventh Annual Hidalgo/Warner Memorial Golf Outing at Western Lakes Golf Course in Pewaukee, benefiting military members and their families. With 154 golfers and over 300 event attendees, Team Hidalgo/Warner raised a total of $50,000 to benefit Fisher House Wisconsin, the Daren M. Hidalgo Memorial Fund and Richard D. Warner Memorial Fund. The fundraising event included an 18-hole scramble, banquet dinner, raffle and silent auction. “This year’s event was our most successful golf outing to date, and I am in awe of our community’s constant support and generosity surrounding this cause,” said Jorge Hidalgo, Wilde East Towne Honda principal partner. “We are honored to host this annual event, not only to remember Daren and Rich, who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country, but also to support those in uniform who currently serve, veterans and military families.” The families of Army 1st Lt. Daren Hidalgo and Marine Lance Cpl. Read More2018 Daren M Hidalgo Memorial Scholarship Presentation
We presented the 2018 Daren M. Hidalgo Memorial Scholarship to Garrett Johnson on June 3, 2018 during the Dallastown High School Senior Awards Presentation. He received a $5000 scholarship which will be used at the Virginia Military Institute in the fall. Garret was a Captain on the wrestling team and on the National Honor Society. His career plans are to become a military officer and serve his country.

The 6th Annual Hidalgo/Warner Memorial Golf Outing at Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee on July 20th. The 144 golfing slots were filled within six days of the announcement. It was a very wet day after about the 11th hole. Some golfers golfed barefoot and in the rain. A lot of people showed up for the dinner and fundraising activities. We concluded another successful Fallen Heroes Ride on June 2nd in Honor of 1LT Daren M. Hidalgo and SGT Christopher Wrinkle. Weather forecast for thunderstorms impacted the number of riders. The ride was shortened to just include a visit to the Veterans Memorial and Gold Star Healing & Peace Garden.
