The 6th Annual Hidalgo/Warner Memorial Golf Outing at Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee on July 20th. The 144 golfing slots were filled within six days of the announcement. It was a very wet day after about the 11th hole. Some golfers golfed barefoot and in the rain. A lot of people showed up for the dinner and fundraising activities. The tremendous event supported by the Wisconsin VFW Foundation, a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) charity, raised over $43,500 to be split between the Daren M Hidalgo Memorial Fund, the Richard D Warner Memorial Fund and the Fisher House of Wisconsin. All donations to be used for scholarships and supporting our veterans and their families.
